In Bavaria, a recall for pork was started. In the product "pork rump with rind" of the Ulmer meat GmbH glass fragments up to two centimeters length were found. The goods were sold in stores of the discount supermarket Netto. Splinters and broken pieces can cause serious injuries to the mouth and throat as well as internal injuries.

As reported on the portal "Lebensmittelwarnung.de" of the federal states and the Federal Office of Consumer Protection, calls the Ulmer meat GmbH for reasons of preventive consumer protection, the article "pork lower shell with rind" (handle, loose) back. According to the information, the product was sold as so-called service goods on Friday, April 8, at various fresh meat counters from Netto Marken-Discount exclusively in parts of Bavaria. It is said that as part of a routine inspection, pieces of broken glass of up to two centimeters in length were found in the fresh meat.

Goods can be returned for reimbursement of the purchase price
Presumably, the broken pieces have been processed by the company Ulmer meat by glass breakage on the goods. The producer and the trading company reacted immediately and immediately removed the goods from the sale. It has been communicated that it is strictly open counter products and pre-packaged self-service products as well as other loose fresh meat products are not affected by the recall. Customers can return the affected product for a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt in their shops.
