Usually, patients are happy when they can leave the hospital. But a patient in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, apparently enjoyed the stay in the clinic so much that he did not want to leave the hospital even after completing the treatment.
Despite being treated, the 56-year-old patient did not want to leave the hospital in Wolfenbüttel on the appointed discharge date. The clinic then turns on the police, which unceremoniously brought the restless patient along with his bed from the hospital and then drove him home in a patrol car.
Clinic staff calls police to help
The employees of the Wolfenbüttel hospital finally came up with no other solution to persuade the stubborn patient to leave the hospital - they called the police. But the man was also resistant to the diplomatic efforts and the good persuasion of police officers. He refused, despite repeated warnings and threatened eviction, to leave his bed. The fact that the 56-year-old, as noted in the police report, was also alcoholized, it probably had a significant impact on his defiant behavior and made the work of officials difficult. These ultimately decided to simply drive the restless patient out of bed in bed and then put him in the patrol car at the door. On the subsequent drive with the exceptional taxi service back to his apartment, the drunken man has finally calmed down according to the police. The 56-year-old now blooms the bill of the police about 70 euros for the special chauffeur service in the patrol car. (Fp)
