Dispute on treatment - Patient attacks dentists
24/10/2013
A 32-year-old patient, following a discussion with his dentist, followed up with a treatment on the practice owner. Two doctors were slightly injured. This happened on Wednesday morning in a practice in Bützow (district of Rostock).
During the treatment, there was a discussion in the course of which the physician was forced to discontinue the treatment. The patient then wanted to clarify the difference of opinion in the reception area and questioned the practice owner. In the course of the conversation he then struck the doctor.
Four people had to hold the attacker
The man was so upset that four people had to intervene to avoid worse. Luckily, there were only minor injuries during the incident, so no one had to be treated in the hospital. The police are now investigating the accused for assault. Why the dentist treatment so out of joint, a police spokesman could not say. However, the patient must be prepared for a criminal complaint. Also on the part of the practice no further information was made. (Fr)
