Treat allergies with Chinese medicine
Enjoy spring thanks to Chinese medicine

Reddened eyes, stuffy nose and unpleasant sneezing attacks: allergy sufferers experience spring not only from the beautiful side. Hay fever patients associate unpleasant symptoms with the first flowers, which in the worst case even lead to the development of bronchial asthma if left untreated. Thanks to gentle methods, Chinese medicine treats the causes of the allergy and thus permanently prevents serious illnesses.
Allergies attribute Chinese medicine to a disturbed balance between yin and yang: „In the first years of life, the immune system learns to deal effectively with infections. if this immunological repartee is suppressed, for example by excessive intake of antibiotics, the body responds with so-called overshooting reactions. The immune system now reacts to foreign substances that, in contrast to germs, are actually no danger to health“, explains Dr. Christian Schmincke, general practitioner and TCM expert from the Klinik am Steigerwald. Therefore, in TCM before the start of therapy, a detailed history takes place. During a patient discussion, clinicians will investigate the medical history and are also interested in past illnesses - even into childhood. In the subsequent treatment, five therapy columns are used: „Acupuncture primarily relieves acute complaints. Chinese medicine helps the body in the long term to deal normally with environmental influences.“ Nutrition, Tuina massages and body therapy Qi Gong complete the holistic concept. (Pm)
