Homeopathic doctors offer assistance with EHEC treatment

The German Central Association of Homeopathic Physicians (DZVhÄ) has informed state health ministers and clinics about the possibilities of supporting homeopathic treatment of EHEC patients. „We know about the complex problems that this proposal may involve. But: infectious diseases can be treated very well homeopathically“, says Cornelia Bajic, chairwoman of the DZVhÄ. „Since EHEC makes doctors perplexed and the population is unsure, the DZVhÄ has decided to take this step“, explains the doctor from Remscheid.

From its beginnings, homeopathy has been able to prove its effectiveness again and again, especially in epidemic diseases. There are very well documented experiences from the history, for example to typhus or cholera epidemics in Austria and India or the Spanish flu. „Homeopathic supportive therapy is possible at any stage of the disease, but best of all at the onset, prior to the onset of serious complications“, explains Bajic. The DZVhÄ proposed a voluntary homeopathic consultation by a team of experienced homeopathic physicians. (Pm)
