Lunch boxes should be washed once a day

Lunch boxes have long since run out of the breakfast bag. For the transport in the satchel offer PVC-free lunch boxes made of plastic. Best of all, in which bot and fruit can be stored separately. This is what TÜV Rheinland points out.

Hygiene is an important requirement for health. The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) specifically warns against pathogens that can be caused by food in poor hygiene. Food is an ideal breeding ground for germs. Lunch boxes should therefore be washed out daily. Ideally in dishwashers. That guarantees proper cleanliness. But also the drinking bottles have to be cleaned every day, so that no harmful germs can form. (Fr)
