A bra (brassiere) is worn by women to support and shape the breast. Even in antiquity, laundry items were used with the same purpose, but the typical bra shape was developed later. In Germany today, most women wear a bra and there are a variety of models in use, some of which were specifically developed for specific purposes, such as the nursing bra or a sports bra.
