When buying hair care products, the ingredients should be scrutinized. Look for aggressive sulfates, silicones, parabens, PEGs (poly (ethylene glycols), alcohols and fragrances. This takes time while shopping, but pays off. The substances mentioned are not exactly healthy and do not care for the hair.
Tinting, dyeing and perm treatments damage the hair. Also, the hair should preferably be dried in the air and not be blown. Curling irons and straighteners are also not recommended for daily use. To protect the hair, these should never be washed with too hot, but always with lukewarm water. Thereafter, the hair is not rubbed, but only gently blotted. Who likes to wear a braid should pay attention to wide, soft hair elastics that contain no metal compound to avoid breaking off the hair.
Right nutrition
Just external care does not help to get healthy and beautiful hair. Here you should pay attention to a healthy and balanced diet. These include fresh fruit, seasonal vegetables, little meat and sausage and enough liquid, in the form of mineral water. Only with enough healthy fats like nuts or vegetable oils in the diet can your hair shine, long low-fat diets harm the hair quality. (sw, dp, updated on 27.06.2018)
