Yoga Vidya Music Festival in Europe's largest yoga class home

A music festival with internationally known artists will take place from 9 to 12 May in Horn-Bad Meinberg. Visitors experience musical enjoyment in a class of their own and can look forward to yoga classes, workshops and much more.

"Here is playing the music!" Four days of festival atmosphere prevail in Europe's largest yoga class house: Indian grooves, traditional Indian dance, kirtan singing, NIA dance, kalari, healing songs, derwish dance, shiatsu with music, togola, didgeridoo, performances and much more connect the visitors with the universal Language of music.

The 9th Yoga Vidya Music Festival will again bring people together, bringing the positive effects of yoga and music to life for a whole weekend and combining them with the joy of celebration.

Highlights of the festival include u. a. the performances of Sundaram, Danilo and Friends and Mirabei Cabei. Visitors can listen, sing along, sing along and decide for themselves how to transform themselves from the powerful, as well as the heart-opening melodies. In addition to the concerts spread out over the days, there are also numerous workshops in drumming, dance, voice training and much more.

Meditation, breathing exercises, parallel yoga classes and ceremonies can be practiced throughout the festival. In addition, there is not only a treat for the ears but also for the eyes and the palate: from muesli to raw food to Indian-Ayurvedic-exotic, visitors can look forward to a sumptuous, healthy and colorful meal from one of Germany's largest organic kitchens.

The festival will kick off on Thursday, May 9, with the opening by Sacinandana Swami at 18:30, followed by an official opening concert with Janin Devi and Friends at 20:00. The festival ends with a final concert with Jayamba meets Babek Bondien on Sunday, May 12, at 14:00. (Pm)
