"It can not be completely ruled out that in individual glasses of the product mentioned there are pieces of wire that can cause injury when ingested," the company writes in a press release.

Affected goods taken out of the sale

According to own data, Kaufland has already taken the affected product out of the sale.

K-Classic Delikatess red cabbage with other best before dates and batches are not affected.

Consumers can return the product in any Kaufland - even without presentation of the receipt - against reimbursement of the purchase price.
