Survey Many people rely on Naturopathy
Many people trust in naturopathy: according to a non-representative survey of the internet portal for naturopathy „Heilpraxisnet.de“ easily put more than half of the visitors exclusively on naturopathy.
From the beginning of 2010 until the end of March 2010, Heilpraxisnet.de asked to express what visitors think about natural medicine. There were three predefined answer options, whether someone exclusively focuses on naturopathy, looks at it as a supplement or relies only on conventional medicine. Only one vote could be cast at a time.
Most of the votes gave his vote for the answer option „I only rely on naturopathy“. Of a total of 921 votes cast in the survey, this was 462 then 50.2 percent. In second place followed the answer option „Naturopathy I regard as supplement“ with 372 votes and thus 40.4 percent. That on a Naturheilkundeseite course, for the most part, this concept open-minded people are to be found as visitors, then proved the least result of the answer option „I only believe in conventional medicine“ with 9.4 percent and thus 87 votes.
Background of the result could be that many German Germans perceive the health care as deficient and thus leads a departure from conventional medicine. Barmer GEK's doctor's report 2010 recently stated that a doctor in Germany has an average of eight minutes per patient per day in 45 patients. On average, German citizens go to the doctor 18.1 times a year. That's a lot even in Europe-wide comparison.
The short treatment times are often accompanied by long waiting times. Furthermore, orthodox medicine has focused on the diagnosis of structural damage. Since many people, despite complaints no structural causes or points of contact are found, here, in our opinion, naturopathic procedures with functional approach score.
Non-medical practitioner Thorsten Fischer, one of the participants in the project, sees even more factors in this development:
"Many people working in the medical profession are unaware that our learned anatomical, physiological and pathological knowledge is just a model, an attempted explanation for reality, but not reality itself, which we try to use in our interactions with patients, to take account of the mutual communication.
