Suspected doctors botch: numbers are declining

The New Year started with a report about a bad medical treatment error, which occurred in Lower Saxony. At the Duderstadt hospital, one patient apparently died because of wrong blood supplies. This may be an inappropriate treatment due to a wrong diagnosis or forgotten surgical equipment in the body. On the positive side, the numbers seem to be on the decline.

As the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) reported according to a message from the news agency dpa, have reported in the past year, less insured at the register because of the suspicion of a medical malpractice. According to a survey - which is available to the dpa - it is clear that there were only 3,275 last year after 4,020 in 2014. In 2013, the number of reports was reported at 3,604. There is thus no clear tendency of reported suspected cases. It is said that many messages were expected to affect the surgical field. Here, according to the cash register, 1,204 cases were reported.
