Consumer Center offers checklist for the review of weight loss

Numerous diet programs promise to effectively remove winter bacon, but few can live up to their promise. Therefore, according to the consumer advice center of Bavaria consumers of weight loss should urgently check the preferred diet programs for their seriousness.
The consumer advocates list in detail all the factors that should be considered in a sustainable diet program. On the basis of the presented checklist, consumers can now independently check the seriousness of the offered weight loss programs, emphasized Andrea Danitschek from the Consumer Center Bavaria. Thus the choice of the individually most suitable diet cure is much easier.
Sustainable diet without weight loss pills or dietary supplements
Like Andrea Danitschek of the consumer center Bavaria opposite the news agency „dpa“ explained that a sustainable diet program without weight loss pills or dietary supplements should be sufficient, include medical attention and be led by qualified experts such as doctors or nutritionists. The new checklist offers the weight loss a good help to check the seriousness of slimming studios and weight loss courses. High-quality weight loss programs are to be recognized, for example, by a (at least partial) reimbursement by the health insurance companies.
Radical weight loss diets only with a short-term effect
According to Andrea Danitschek, short-term radical diets are often rather counterproductive - not least because of the threat of the so-called yo-yo effect. Therefore, usually fast weight loss without long-term success. In general, diet programs that aim to change dietary habits rather than radically refrain from eating are generally more suitable, said the expert from the Bavarian consumer advice center. Overall, the energy intake during the day should not be less than 1,000 kilocalories during the diet, as otherwise threatens food cravings, which can ruin any success again. In diet programs that focus on dietary change, diets should be easy to integrate into everyday life without extensive food bans, Andrea Danitschek continued. (Fp)
