The Siemens Health Insurance SBK is now Germany's largest health insurance fund. Among all statutory health insurance SBK is ranked 15th. Currently with more than 710,000 members, ie self-insured, the SBK has placed itself at the top of the German company health insurance funds. Overall, SBK insures almost 1 million people in Germany. SBK takes 15th place in the ranking of all statutory health insurances in Germany. SBK has achieved a membership growth of more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year and has thus grown significantly above the market average.

For SBK CEO Hans Unterhuber, SBK's long-term growth strategy is paying off: "We have never been looking for rapid growth successes." SBK also takes first place in terms of customer satisfaction at the Kundenmonitor 2011 with 8,000 insured persons surveyed.
