Impurities in food
Due to errors in the manufacturing processes, contaminants or foreign bodies in food can occur again and again. For example, in February, a huge recall was launched in 55 countries after plastic particles had been found in Mars chocolate bars. About two years ago, Mars had recalled various milk drinks because of possible bacterial contamination. According to press reports, the bacteria had been detected in the UK according to company information, after consumers complained of nausea and diarrhea. Contamination with harmful germs and foreign bodies are common causes of food recalls. (Ad)
