The Kaufland grocery chain calls K-Classic Premium Cornichons back with fine spices. According to the company, it can not be ruled out that there are glass jars in individual jars that could lead to injuries when ingested.

Kaufland department store chain announces on its website that it recalls "K-Classic Premium Cornichons with fine spices" for reasons of preventive consumer protection. According to the recall are therefore glasses with the capacity: 330 g, drained weight: 190 g, EAN 4335896156385 with the best before date and batches: 31.12.2020 L5 206 BG and 31.12.2020 L5 207 BG and the supplier number: LFN: 206468.
Shards in individual glasses possible
"It can not be completely ruled out that in individual glasses of the product mentioned are broken glass, which can lead to injury when consumed," the company writes.
The best before date is printed on the edge of the lid. The LFN number can be found on the label below the nutritional value table (LFN 206468).
According to the information, Kaufland has already withdrawn the product concerned from the sale. Other best before dates, batches and LFN as well as other varieties of K-Classic Cornichons are not affected.
The product can also be returned without presentation of the receipt for reimbursement of the purchase price.
