Recall for fruit slices from Allos

The company Allos has launched a nationwide recall campaign for the fruit slices mango and passion fruit, each with the best before date until 29 December 2013. According to the manufacturer „a small piece of glass was found in a cereal and a piece of fruit“, saw the Allos GmbH both in the fruit slices and in the „Allos Bircher Muesli“ (650 grams, shelf life 02 April 2014) prompted a callback. The consumption of the products is not recommended. „The affected products are taken back and replaced by Allos GmbH“, so the message of the company.

„There is currently no indication that other products could be affected“, However, as a precautionary measure, the articles were withdrawn from circulation in order to be held responsible for their own responsibility „Manufacturer and bio pioneer“ to meet, reports the Allos GmbH. Consumers should refrain from eating mueslis and fruit slices with the above mentioned best before date. How the glass splinters could get into the cereal and the fruit slices, is not clear from the message of the company. (Fp)
