Salmonella detected
According to the company, the product concerned at Aldi Nord was sold exclusively in parts of Hamburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.

Since salmonella was detected in a single sample of this product as part of a self-inspection, the article "should no longer be consumed or used". Other articles and other MHD are not affected. Affected goods can be returned for reimbursement of the purchase price - even without presentation of the receipt.

Also ham sausages loaded with bacteria
On the portal "Lebensmittelwarnung.de" of the federal states and the Federal Office for consumer protection is warned about another product, which is available from Aldi. Accordingly, "Harzer ham sausages" (in the manner of a raw Krakauer) of the Gifhorn company Gmyrek also recalled because of salmonella.

The sausages of the brand "Goldkrone" in 350 gram packs with the best before date 07.11.2016 and the batch number GMYH16S0415 were in the companies Salzgitter and Hann. Münden at Aldi Nord on sale.

Also for eggs from ground husbandry of the company Brandlhof was recently started a recall for salmonella.
