Recall: Supermarket chain calls gooseberries back in the glass

Recently it became known that the food company Norma on Friday (18 November 2011) the article „Harvested crown gooseberries sugared“ in the 720 ml glass with the best before date 31 December 2014 (batch ISBCE 0918600 CS).

Risk of injury from spines and thorns
The company said the jars might contain spines and thorns that could cause mouth and throat injuries. To protect consumers, the goods were already removed from the shelves of supermarkets last Friday. Customers who have previously purchased the item can return it without presenting the receipt in all Norma stores. The purchase price will be refunded.
