CDU politician Lautenschläger becomes new member of the DKV board

The former Hessian Minister of the Environment and Consumer Protection Silke Lautenschläger will resign her mandate and on January 1, 2011 a board member of the private health insurance DKV, Deutsche Krankenversicherung. The 42-year-old should be on the board of the department „Performance and supply“ take over.

In the years from 2001 to 2009, Silke Lautenschläger was also responsible for health as Minister of State for Social Affairs, and subsequently for the environment, energy, agriculture and consumer protection. At his own request, Lautenschläger retired from the Hesse state government in August. In addition, she wants to resign her mandate today at the end of the day. "With my job as a board member of a large German private health insurance a Landtag mandate is incompatible - and in my understanding, it is right to resign the mandate immediately," said Silke Lautenschläger already on 30 September 2010 in Wiesbaden.
