"This product can be dangerous for people with soy allergy," it says in a statement.

"HEMA is calling on customers with soy allergies not to consume the HEMA butter speculum roll with expiration date 19.10.2018, but to immediately return it to a HEMA branch," the company writes.
The purchase amount will be refunded.
The complaints of a soy allergy can be diverse, reports the German Allergy and Asthma Association e.V. (DAAB) on its website.
Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting as well as eczema or hives are possible.
"In adulthood, in addition to gastrointestinal complaints and skin symptoms, reactions to the respiratory tract (bronchial asthma) can be triggered," said the DAAB.
"The severity of symptoms ranges from mild mood disorders to anaphylactic shock." (Ad)
