Homeopathic doctors correct GWUP
DZVhÄ corrects GWUP
03/02/2014
The German Central Association of Homeopathic Physicians (DZVhÄ) has corrected a leaflet on homeopathy published by the Society for the Scientific Investigation of Paras Sciences (GWUP). In order to keep the GWUP text readable, the almost 30 DZVhÄ annotations in red were placed next to the marked text passages.
The skeptics in this leaflet do not do justice to their scientific claim: allegations are made and not proven, study results interpreted unilaterally, false statements on medicine and the history of medicine formulated - in many places the reader simply ignores the authors' ignorance of medical homeopathy.
Various media have reported on the correction of the flyer, on the DZVhÄ-blog was hotly debated. The German Apothekerzeitung wrote online that by correcting a „entertaining brochure“ had come out, „which shows how worlds collide when it comes to homeopathy.“ DocCheck on the DZVhÄ criticism: Quite seriously meant, but still with a wink, they pick up key arguments of the critics. Under www.dzvhae-homoeopathie-blog.de the corrected flyer and the discussion can be found. (Pm)
