Homeopathy event for basic research
Organon-2010 event: „Highly diluted but effective - basic research into potencies and their use in practice“.
(13.09.2010) A DZVhÄ series of events on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the basic work of homeopathy will take place in Leipzig on October 1st. Homeopathy is scientifically controversial mainly because of the potentiation, although it is not a basic principle of homeopathy, but a purely pragmatically developed process. The fact that this concept works can not only be proven by a whole series of successful double-blind studies; There is also good evidence of a specific effect of the agents used, which is clearly different from a pure placebo effect. When does which potency in practice be used? Silke Meisel. Why homeopathic remedies work? Stephan Baumgartner at the University of Bern.
For the 200th anniversary of the basic work of homeopathy, the German Central Association of Homeopathic Doctors (DZVhÄ) organizes a series of events at various locations in Germany. The events are aimed at doctors, politicians, journalists and interested lay people and deal with the most important basics of homeopathy.
The DZVhÄ and the DZVhÄ-Landesverband Sachsen jointly invite to this fourth Organon-2010 event in Leipzig. Welcome: Monika Kölsch, Member of the Board of the DZVhÄ.
Lectures and discussion: Stephan Baumgartner (University of Bern, KIKOM) and Dr. med. Silke Meisel (Dresden)
