Non-medical practitioners look beyond the borders of the special topic „Boundless Naturopathy in Europe“

11/30/2013

Can natural medicine be counted as an intangible cultural heritage according to UNESCO criteria? What is the topic of the 5th EU Symposium in Brussels? „Legal Exercise of CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine)“ result? The profession of non-medical practitioner in Germany is one of the European health professions. But why does not an international and global health system such as naturopathy or, politically correct, Traditional Medicine / Complementary and Alternative Medicine (TM / CAM) in a united Europe have its own profession? Currently, there are only national job profiles in Switzerland and Germany. In an open discussion round under the topic „Boundless Naturopathy in Europe“ Nora Laubstein, Chairwoman of the Association for Natural Medicine in Europe e.V. (ANME), discusses current perspectives on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on the occasion of the 9th Naturopathic Symposium in Hanau. Developments will also be discussed, which will result in the practice of medicine in other European countries as well as in the German healthcare market. Participation is free.
