14-year-old suffered severe convulsions
According to a police report, a 14-year-old from Freising had to learn painfully that even the so-called herbal mixtures can lead to fatal effects.

According to reports, officials were briefed Thursday about a person with seizures who may have been due to drug use at a children's playground. In fact, the police found in the teenager a small amount of herbal mixture (0.23 grams).

The teenager, who had vomited several times, was taken by ambulance to Klinikum Landshut. The boy's father was contacted. According to the police, there are no findings about his current state of health.

The 14-year-old, when he is well again, expected criminal proceedings for the acquisition and possession of narcotics.

Side effects often incalculable
Experts repeatedly warn against the supposedly harmless herbal mixtures, as their ingredients are often unknown and thus the side effects of their consumption are often incalculable.

The intoxicants can lead to poisoning and depending on the composition trigger panic attacks and hallucinations. In addition, physical impairments such as blood pressure fluctuations, nausea and vomiting, respiratory distress, serious cardiovascular problems such as palpitations or cardiac arrest, convulsions or comatose conditions may occur.
