The European Food Safety Authority (efsa) is currently warning against frozen vegetables as a likely trigger.
The product was sold throughout Germany at the supermarket chain Lidl. Among other things, the bacteria can cause nausea and vomiting. For the purposes of preventive consumer protection, the manufacturer recalls the product regardless of the best before date. Also Lidl Germany reacted immediately and removed the affected product from the sale. Buyers can return the vegetable mix in each Lidl store. The purchase price will also be refunded without presentation of the receipt.
