On Saturday, an enriched with cannabis oil chocolate cake in the Mecklenburg town of Ribnitz-Damgarten has triggered several rescue operations. According to police, a total of six women and men between the ages of 23 and 56 had to be treated for nausea and vomiting within a very short time. Four of them had to be brought to the clinic.

Baker surrendered to police questioning
It turned out that all the patients had eaten from a chocolate cake that had been offered to them by a friend. The 42-year-old man had also mixed a few drops of cannabis oil. "He also had eaten from the cake and had to pass during the questioning by the police," it says in a message.

Cake guaranteed as evidence
The remainder of the cake was provided as evidence and for investigation, the criminal investigation now investigates the suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and violation of the Narcotics Act against the man. It remained unclear whether those affected knew about the cannabis in the cake.
