Slimming with Schüßlersalzen
Naturopathy: Slimming with Schüßlersalzen
Presented a few years ago as an insider tip by naturopaths to naturopaths, so it stands today each of us from shop windows and newspaper ads directly into the eye: the possibility to lose weight with the Schüßlersalzen from naturopathy. But how do the salts work, and what do the pounds actually tumble??

Cell salts for optimal body function
The mineral therapy with the Schüssler salts works according to a simple and quite effective principle: Twelve minerals, which maintain the human cell functions as resources, must be sufficiently present in the cells to ensure a healthy process of physical processes. Conversely, every defect causes a certain disorder in the metabolism. The fact that the mineral compounds in the Schüßler salts are diluted according to the homeopathic principle should ensure absorption through tiny openings in the cell walls and at the same time prevent overdosage.

Certain skipper salts promote weight loss through deacidification, detoxification and fat burning. Not all recommended salts are equally necessary for everyone. The optimal combination will identify trained users of natural healing, e.g. with facial diagnostics. For self-treatment the Schüßlersalze Nos. 5, 9 and 10 are often recommended, which should be taken in the order mentioned (for each agent once a day five tablets) in the morning, noon and evening before meals. But other salts can support weight loss.
The # 5 is important for nerves, brain, muscles and blood. A deficiency of potassium phosphoricum shows in constant hunger that leads to unnecessary intake of food and thus to overweight. Sodium phosphoricum acts mainly on fat metabolism and acid-base balance by binding acids to itself. Because it lacks the number 9 itself but ausscheidender effect, Natrum sulphuricum is recommended. The Schüßlersalz No. 10 promotes excretion and detoxification, because it reduces the water recovery of water from the intestine and controls the function of the pancreas, liver, bile and kidney.
Potassium chloratum can be considered as a fuel for all glands in the body. By stimulating the thyroid gland, which has a major impact on energy requirements and overall metabolism, No. 4 can also be used to optimize weight.
Finally, the No. 7, the magnesium phosphoricum should also reduce cravings for sweets, especially chocolate cravings, by strengthening the carbohydrate metabolism.
Changing the way of life
Sometimes, advertisements promise a weight-reducing effect through drugs without further lifestyle changes. Such promises then serve more economic interests and arouse false ideas. Also, the minerals can not sufficiently counteract a particular lifestyle, e.g. without any physical activity and everyday with fast food, beer and chips on the couch.
It's like stepping on the accelerator and brake pedal while driving. It's easy to imagine the pace at which the path to the goal is reached. When slag and toxins are released, the body must excrete them. This requires sufficient intake of water. A varied, as fresh as possible prepared food without artificial additives, white flour and industrial sugar leads to the body nutrients and usable energies without making you fat. Equally important is regular exercise that has nothing to do with competitive sports. Maybe you can do daily work or shopping in the future at a fast pace on foot?
And if nothing happens?
The curative application of the appropriate minerals and a consistent change of nutrition and movement show positive results after a certain time. Anyone who can not tame his greed for chocolate or other sweets alone, who is exposed to uncontrolled binge eating or believes that he can not do without the consumption of alcohol should seek professional guidance. In naturopathic practices and by non-medical practitioners, who are limited to the field of psychotherapy, numerous methods are offered for the detection and processing of deep-seated patterns, blockades and resistances. These include therapeutic hypnosis, psychokinesiology or knock acupressure. (Dipl.Päd. Jeanette Viñals Stein, non-medical practitioner)
