15th Thuringian Healing Practitioners Day in Erfurt: pain treatment, antibiotics, autoimmune diseases

On Saturday, May 11, 2013, the 15th Thuringian Healing Day will take place in Erfurt. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Verband Deutscher Heilpraktiker e. V. (VDH), this specialist event is the continuation of a series of events distributed over the year, which takes place at various locations throughout Germany. The 15th Thuringian Heilpraktikertag begins at 9.00 clock with the official opening by VDH President Heinz Kropmanns in the Carl Zeiss Hall of the fair Erfurt, Gothaer Straße 34, 99094 Erfurt. Admission to the entire lecture program and visit to the accompanying industrial exhibition is free.

The 1st Hours of the VDH e.V. 1994 in Erfurt initiated a successful tradition in Thuringia. There is great potential in the exchange of knowledge and experience of naturopathic healing methods. Therefore, the professional education and training is an absolute must in the profession d Heilpraktiker. Constantly increasing demands in daily practice require continuous further education in therapeutic procedures, legislation and innovations in the naturopathic pharmaceutical sector. The 15th Thuringian Healing Practitioners' Day offers this opportunity for professional development and contact with colleagues. All non-medical practitioners as well as all career aspirants and physicians working in natural history from Saxony and neighboring areas are addressed.

The program of contents of the 15th Thuringian Healing Day includes 18 lectures of the diagnostics and new therapeutic approaches in the pain treatment of osteoarthritis, the control of pathogenic microorganisms, germs, bacteria, viruses and fungi without antibiotics, general autoimmune diseases to stress and Sleep disorders as precursor symptoms of „Burnout“. The exchange of knowledge and experiences about naturopathic healing methods is of particular importance for all active naturopaths and non-medical practitioner candidates.

The Verband Deutscher Heilpraktiker e.V. (VDH) was founded in 1963 and, with its more than 3,000 members nationwide, is one of the major national professional associations of the profession of alternative practitioner and maintains close and collegial contact with other professional groups. The VDH has the task

- to promote the free profession of the alternative practitioner and his offspring in professional and political terms,
- To assist the members of the association in the exercise of their interests vis-à-vis the authorities and legislatures and other associations,
- to ensure a good relationship between the alternative practitioners and the other occupations of the health service and
- to ensure the continued existence of naturopathic medicine and its development and promotion of a contemporary job profile on the basis of a tradition rooted in medicine. (Pm)
