The juice of aloe is considered an effective remedy for all skin diseases. In the case of acne and impure skin, pure aloe juice, which is applied thinly to the skin in the evening and left overnight, should have an effect already after one week. An internal application can additionally strengthen the healing.

For oily skin, pimples and blackheads, a natural facial toner should clarify and cleanse: For the preparation of the old home remedy, the juice of one lemon and one orange is mixed with some healing water and used daily for four weeks as a tonic.

Daisies have an anti-inflammatory effect and can be processed into a skin tincture at home. Collect 100 daisies, pluck the heads and place them in 100ml 40% alcohol for three to four weeks. The tincture can then be dabbed directly on the pimples to inhibit inflammation.

Zinc ointment can be used to dry out pimples. The active substance zinc oxide is responsible for this. In addition, many zinc ointments contain ingredients such as vitamin A or cod liver oil. While vitamin A helps to rebuild damaged tissue, cod liver oil supplies the skin with vitamins E, A and D. Because of its antiseptic effect, zinc oxide can prevent pimples from becoming inflamed and festering.

Some people swear by toothpaste to dry inflamed pimples. For this, some toothpaste is applied to the affected area of ​​the skin and allowed to work overnight. The dehydrating effect is mainly due to the active ingredient sodium dodecyl polysulfate, which is also present in some commercial care products and deprives the skin of fat.

Tea tree oil helps against pimples

Another effective home remedy for acne is tea tree oil, which is obtained by distillation from the leaves of tea tree. In essence, its antiseptic and bactericidal action is based on the main ingredient terpinene-4-ol.

If the skin is covered with pimples over a large area, you can apply a few drops to a damp washcloth and carefully dab the entire face with it. It is advisable to consult a dermatologist before first use. Undiluted tea tree oil should only be used to treat individual inflammations as it is quite aggressive. All you have to do is put one or two drops on a cotton swab and gently dab the pimple after a thorough cleansing of the face.

Bach flowers and Schüssler salts in unclean skin

Bach flowers are selected mainly according to mood. However, every mental sensation has a correspondence on the body level, so there are certain Bach flowers that are recommended for impure skin and pimples. Crab apple, the "cleaning flower", should be considered in a mix. Impatiens is indicated if there is inflammation and redness. One of the most important salts in the treatment of acne is sodium phosphoricum (No. 9), which regulates the fat and acid balance and is therefore considered the "salt of the metabolism". The fruit acid content narrows the pores and refines the appearance of the skin. Apple cider vinegar is therefore suitable for cleaning, to relieve inflammation and to promote a finer-pored complexion.

The greatest effect can be achieved with apple cider vinegar, if you drink it. It stimulates the metabolism and ensures that toxins are flushed out more effectively. For this, one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar are put into a glass and the vinegar drink is then drunk. When taken daily, after a few weeks, a positive effect.
