hip osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis of the hip joints
Hip osteoarthrosis refers to degenerative processes on the hip joint that may be responsible for hip pain and groin pain. The term primarily refers to the cartilage in the joint, which is attacked in its structure. However, this process can also extend to the joint capsule, the involved bones and muscular and connective tissue structures around the hip joint.

causes
Usually a diagnosis of coxarthrosis is made in advanced age. It is assumed that there is an imbalance between the load and the load capacity of the articular cartilage in the hip joint. The causes are overweight, hip dysplasia, infections, tumors, circulatory disorders, fractures of the thigh or the pan (which is formed by the pelvic bone) and others. Often it is incomprehensible, whether a malnutrition of the cartilage, from birth, a less compensatory quality of cartilage, excessive mechanical stress or other causes are responsible for the coxarthrosis.
In the worst case, sufferers need a new hip joint after a hip osteoarthritisCartilage does not have its own blood vessels. Its nutrition takes place through the liquid between the cells (intercellular fluid). If the composition of the fluid is not optimal, due to a poor metabolism in the organism or low intake of nutrients or if the inflow is not stable, this may have an effect on the quality of the cartilage.
complaints
Furthermore, it is questionable whether hip pain is always directly caused by the degenerative phenomena in the joint. To protect the hip joint, there is usually a hard hitch of the associated muscles, which may be responsible for the pain near the hip joint or for low back pain and back pain associated with hip problems.
