But because of all the stress it can sometimes come to mishaps. But do not worry: If something is burned or gets too greasy, it can usually be "saved" with simple tricks.
Mishaps in the kitchen can usually be remedied
Even the most relaxed chef can make a mistake during the preparation of the Christmas dinner. In many cases, small malheurs of the kitchen, however, can be fixed well. The initiative "Too good for the barrel!" By the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) gives some helpful tips and tricks in a communication.
Cut off burned meat
While there are people who think that charred meat is healthy, experts usually recommend that burned food should not be eaten for the sake of health.
If the meat is lightly burned, home cooks can simply cut off the too-dark crust and hide the interface with a mix of fresh herbs and roasted breadcrumbs, recommends the initiative. If the meat is very juicy, you can also sear the interface briefly.
If the sauce is too greasy
