Swine flu vaccine cheap to give?
Swine flu: give vaccine cheap?
According to media reports, vaccines against the H1 / N1 virus, which are apparently no longer consumed to be sold to Pakistan. Specifically, it should be the vaccine „Pandemrix“ of the pharmaceutical manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline, about which there are negotiations with Pakistan about a sale. According to a report in the newspaper „Westfalen-Blatt“ 10 million vaccine doses are to be sold there.
The Lower Saxony Ministry of Health is conducting negotiations for the federal states. There it was said that they did not want to express themselves at the moment, but the negotiations were obviously successful and might soon be completed.
The reason for the initiative is the fact that far fewer people were vaccinated against the swine flu virus than expected and that the disease itself was much milder than predicted. Because of these facts, the instances, such as the World Health Organization WHO, which urged a vaccine and the proclamation of the pandemic, are in the criticism.
In Germany, according to media reports, there are already the first cases of recourse claims by people who were vaccinated and subsequently experienced various unexpected symptoms. (Thorsten Fischer, Naturopath Osteopathy, 07.03.2010)
