Medical fees Does the additional contribution come?
Medical fees: Complementary fee?
08/30/2014
In the coming year, physicians can count on just under 850 million euros more. They had demanded five billion. Nevertheless, the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) was basically satisfied with the outcome of the fee negotiations for 2015. Now there is an additional contribution for those insured under the law?
850 million euros in addition
In contrast to many doctors' representatives and physicians in private practice, the Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung (KBV) has basically been satisfied with this year's result of the fee negotiations for 2015. KBV boss Dr. Andreas Gassen before journalists in Berlin that this is a conclusion, with 850 million euros in addition „within normal limits“. This is more than the result for 2014 and almost as much as that for 2013. However, the KBV had demanded five billion euros. In the upcoming negotiations of the regional Kassenärztliche associations (KV) could be improved, said Gassen confidently.
Highest increase for years
He was surprised by the sometimes extreme reactions to the result. Gassen led the negotiations for the first time. In particular, he emphasized the increase of the so-called landmark value by 1.4 percent to 10.27 cents. Regina Feldmann, board member of the KBV, called the agreement the highest increase of the landmark value for years. In addition, 462 million euros are distributed to all contract physicians (2013: 290 million, 2014: 380 million). With each of the 132 million euros for basic medical care as well as for services of qualified practice assistants of family doctors was indeed a step out of budgeting succeeded, but according to lanes and Feldmann these extra-budgetary benefits were not enough. On September 24, details will be clarified in further negotiations.
Additional contribution of 16 euros for insured persons
For those insured by law, the fee would mean an additional contribution of 16 euros. This has the health spokesman for the left, Harald Weinberg, calculated. In a press release, the politician declared: „The increase in doctors' fees by 800 million euros, equivalent to the 50 million contributors an additional contribution of 16 euros a year. Because the Federal Government has decided that all cost increases are no longer half of employers and insured, but only by the insured.“ (Ad)
