Pork is a major source of infection
As reported by the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) in a recent communication, zoonosis monitoring in 2015 found that "pork remains a significant source of infection for people with salmonella due to their partial consumption.".

"Raw minced meat and raw sausage products are therefore not suitable foods for sensitive consumer groups such as infants, elderly and immunocompromised people and pregnant women," warn the experts.

Salmonella can endanger your health
