The Higher Regional Court Dusseldorf has considered a verdict in a case advertising statements on the subjects "KISS syndrome" and "KIDD syndrome" inadmissible.

The Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court (Ref. I-20 U 107/13) has decided that the application for a therapy for children under one “KISS”- or. “KIDD”-Syndrome, in this case misleading and therefore unfair.

The advertisement of the physiotherapist reproduced in the verdict of the judgment, which describes a symptomatology as well as a therapy success on his own child, is not supported by scientific findings, so that an inadmissible efficacy statement is made.
