Drugstore chain launches recall for "Exquisite Blueberry White Chocolate"
Because of possible contamination with Salmonella Rossmann has launched a recall for "The Exquisite Blueberry White Chocolate". The product has been removed from the sale and customers are requested to stop using purchased items and return them to points of sale.
"Unfortunately, it can not be ruled out that the product is contaminated with salmonella," the note in the message from the drugstore chain on the current recall. For reasons of preventive consumer protection, the "The Exquisite Blueberry White Chocolate" (GTIN 4305615367347) will be recalled. Consumption is strongly discouraged.

"We ask that all packs of Exquisite Blueberry White Chocolate (GTIN 4305615367347) are no longer used and returned to our stores," says Rossmann. It can not be ruled out that the product is contaminated with Salmonella. If you have an infection, you may experience nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and occasionally headache. Especially in children, the elderly and people with weaker and weakened immune systems threaten severe disease, which may require inpatient treatment.
Consumption is not recommended
In view of the health risk, the drugstore chain advises against consumption and asks customers to return already purchased items at the outlets. The purchase price will of course be refunded.
