Threatening gastrointestinal diseases due to salmonella
Salmonella are germs that can cause gastrointestinal diseases in the form of salmonellosis. This is mainly characterized by complaints such as diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Often a Salmonella infection is over after a few days even without drug treatment. In addition, it is possible to take antibiotics against the disease. However, especially for already weakened individuals, the infection can be quite critical, not least because the body loses solid fluid and consequently threatens dehydration.
Search for the causes
Alnatura points out that the „Manufacturer partner of Alnatura Tahins decades of experience in the manufacture of this product“ and so far never had a salmonella finding. Actually, all germs, which are possibly contained in the raw materials, are reliably killed by multiple heating of the product and by appropriate modern systems will prevent the subsequent entry of germs. It remains unclear how the Salmonella got into the Sesammus. „Even if the germs were detected here only in a single glass, we will pursue the findings together with our manufacturer partner intensively“, so the press release from Alnatura.
