Practice fee in the future Hartz IV rate included

Practice fee in the future Hartz IV rate included / Health News

The practice fees for doctors should in future be included in the Hartz IV rule set.

(20.09.2010) The requirements such as practice fees or Internet costs should in the future be included in the Hartz IV ruleset. This was announced by the Federal Ministry of Labor today. But the exact numbers and the amount of the future unemployment benefit II rate will be announced only on 27 September. Since there are signs that other calculation bases such as alcohol and cigarettes are falling outside the standard rate, it may well be that the standard benefits will not be higher than expected.

According to the current SGB II regulations, Hartz IV recipients are in principle not exempt from the practice fees. Every quarter, recipients of ALG II benefits, like all other statutory health insured persons, pay a practice fee of 10 euros per quarter. An exemption from medical fees only takes place if you have exceeded two percent of the annual income for additional payments to the doctor or pharmacist. This corresponds to an amount of 83.28 euros. However, this must be documented with receipts. After that you get a fee waiver card. (Sb)
