Plastic particles in the frozen fish
Since blue plastic particles of "Schlemmerfilet Champignon" (400 g) from "Greenland Seafood" were found in individual packages of blue plastic particles, the manufacturer withdrew a certain batch for reasons of preventive consumer protection. As reported by the news agency dpa, the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety announced on its website that, according to the production company, only products with the lot number L 5150 and the expiration date 19.11.2016 were affected. The relevant information can be found on the side flap of the product. The products were offered at Netto Marken-Discount.

Goods can be returned
It was pointed out that "customers who have purchased the corresponding products can return them for a refund of the purchase price, even without presentation of the receipt in the net branches". According to the information, further best-before dates and other "Sea Gold" products are not affected. The customer service answers inquiries from consumers under the free hotline 0800 2000015 (Monday to Sunday, 24-hour availability). Again and again plastic particles are detected in food. And not only in fish that comes from the contaminated with plastic particles in the world's oceans, but also in honey and drinking water. (Ad)
