It has also been observed that, for example, the birth control pill or alcohol may increase the side effects.

In a total of seven studies, Phase III was the active ingredient „flibanserin“ tested. In the two most important studies, statistically better results were obtained in comparison with the placebo in relation to sexual satisfaction, but no significant increase in sexual desire could be demonstrated.
