A strong sneeze was enough and the ball of a small-caliber weapon had escaped from the head again. Previously, the man from Turin had been shot by yet unknown perpetrators in Naples.
On New Year's Eve, a man has removed a bullet from his head by merely sneezing. As reported by the Italian newspaper "La Stampa", the 28-year-old had bled on his face when he wanted to spend New Year's Eve with his partner in the center of Naples. Until then, the victim was unaware that he had been hit by a bullet from a weapon.
Then the injured person was immediately taken to a clinic. Once there, the doctors initially suspected that a New Year's bullfighter hit the man and therefore bled his face. Further investigation revealed that the patient was hit with a small-caliber weapon. The bullet had entered the head through the hearing organs and remained stuck in the area of the nasal cavity. But this fact astonished the doctors, because the man otherwise hardly express any complaints under the circumstances. A little later, something even more astonishing happened: The patient suddenly had a strong sneezing sensation and simply sneezed the ball out again. Afterwards, the young man was treated by the eye. It is still unclear to what extent his vision was affected by the still unexplained incident. (Sb)
