New board member for holistic dentistry

International Society for Holistic Dental Medicine elects new board

The dentist has become a permanent contact person of modern medicine due to close links between the oral cavity and the entire organism. The new four-member board of the largest society for holistic dental medicine (GZM) is committed to the integration of new scientific findings and interdisciplinary cooperation between dentists and other therapists.
For more than 25 years, the International Society for Holistic Dental Medicine has supported efforts to implement interdisciplinary collaboration between dentists, physicians, psychologists and co-therapists in the therapeutic network. To promote dental diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, is the declared intention of the new board of GZM.
Dr. (Med. Univ. Budapest) Edith Nadj-Papp, M.A. Christel-Maria Foch, Christine Albinger-Voigt and Dr. med. Heinz-Peter Olbertz, M. Sc. Lead the community of over 1000 dentists and therapists. They use their many years of experience in the application of classical and complementary dentistry for the integration of current scientific knowledge into the wealth of experience of holistic medicine. Holistic medicine in particular can already be identified as the first regulatory disorder
Indication of incipient metabolic imbalances, but also in the later course of manifest chronic diseases for sustained therapeutic success.
With a healthy lifestyle, gentle methods, such as Acupuncture, phytotherapy, homeopathy, as well as the prevention of harmful materials, such as those found in dental materials, food, and the modern environment, can often prevent the development of chronic conditions. Here it is important to merge the advantages of the different procedures and to positively influence the oral health of the population through prevention-oriented, individual and personal care for patients of all ages.
