New rip-off mesh: Official letters request entry

The enterprise „GES Registrat GmbH“ sends official letters asking you to sign up for a business directory. Attention: it is not immediately apparent that this is expensive. We have been alerted to a new rip-off by our BDH members about which we would like to inform you today.

The enterprise „GES Registrat GmbH“ sends official letters, with the logo Free Registration and an official coat of arms logo. In the letterhead is then full-time „Recording freelance workers i.S. de. § 18 EStG“. In the form already some company data of the written on as name and address of the freelancer are imprinted. Then follows a field where:

with data on the industry etc.

On the right side are, very small printed, on the border of the jurisprudence allowed, the conditions for the entry. And lo and behold, it is a commercial offer for a completely useless entry in an online industry portal. This scam is not new, we have already reported several times.

Would you sign this and send back, would be 1.176,00 EUR due, because you have committed by signing a 2-year term á 588.00 EUR.
