For several men in Schweinfurt, such intoxicants were now doomed, some of them becoming unconscious, others were looking for police with a large contingent.
Health hazards through legal drugs
Doctors and other professionals repeatedly point to the health hazards that come from so-called "legal highs", mostly local drugs such as herbal mixtures. Only recently warned experts of the poison emergency center Baden-Württemberg from dangerous side effects, which can bring such intoxicants. A big problem is that consumers are often unaware of the exact composition. Such drugs can cause discomfort such as nausea and vomiting, sweating, palpitations or hallucinations. Depending on the content, there is also the danger of suffering a fainting or fainting. But many people are clearly not impressed by the warnings. For several men in the Lower Franconian Schweinfurt, the consumption of herb mixtures became a fatality.
Several men unconscious
For ten visitors to a nightclub in Schweinfurt (Bavaria), the consumption of intoxicants in the night on Saturday has led to serious consequences. The police said three people lost consciousness and six others fled. Because a health risk could not be excluded for the latter, a large search operation was initiated by helicopter. As the police wrote in a press release, it could have been that those affected "possibly stray disoriented". According to the information also the train traffic on the nearby rails was slowed down. When the rescue workers arrived on-site, they encountered four men between the ages of 20 and 36 with health problems. Three of them were unconscious. The patients were treated and taken to hospitals, which they were able to leave during the morning.
The refugees were no longer to be found. The search was canceled after several hours. After initial investigation of the police it was the intoxicant probably a kind of herbal mixture. Remains of this substance were no longer found. (Ad)
