Bullying at school or during free time always has consequences for children and is a serious problem for schools. There are few victims who survive mental or physical violence without health effects. Many become ill or prefer to leave school out of shame and fear.
One in the trade magazine „Phsycological Science“ The University of Warwik's study on bullying in children has shown that in adulthood they have more problems establishing or maintaining social relationships. A total of 1,300 people were followed from childhood to adulthood. These were either victims or full plug of mental and physical violence. There were more and more health consequences for the victims of mobbing, but also for the perpetrators. They get sick more often and harder. The effects can not be overlooked in later working life either. Many of you have low-paying jobs and you can not build social contacts with your colleagues. In addition, an increased propensity for risky and criminal behavior was recorded by the researchers. For children who were only perpetrators, however, the negative effects are less pronounced. (Fr)
