On Saturday, 14 children in Frankfurt complained of nausea and headaches during a choir rehearsal with hundreds of junior singers from different countries. Some of them came to a clinic for treatment. The cause of the complaints remained unclear.

Headache and nausea during choir rehearsal
Around 500 children gathered at the Fraport Arena in Frankfurt on Saturday to rehearse for a charity concert. Again „Hessian Broadcasting“ reported online, some of them suddenly complained of headache and nausea during the rehearsal. Some of the children surrendered. The victims were provided by the emergency services quickly arrived. On site were also experts of the city health department.

Cause of the complaints still unknown
According to the fire department, a total of 14 children aged 8 to 13 from South Africa and various European countries were examined. According to the information, five of them were taken to hospital for treatment. In addition, an appendicitis was found in another child. It came to another clinic. The remaining children could each stay locally. The cause of the complaints is still unknown. Currently, the fire department assume that the excitement and unfamiliar nutrition in the international group could have led to the symptoms. Given that unfamiliar foods, especially if they are very fat, can cause stomach problems, this seems to be an obvious guess. (Ad)
