Applesauce in a different way - with tips from the cooking professional
Well-tried in the preparation of applesauce is the method: cut apples, cook with a little sugar, done. But with spices or some port wine you can give the whole thing more whistle. Hobby cooks should also dare to experiment a bit.

Prepare healthy fruit deliciously
The apple is a true miracle product from nature. The delicious fruit contains over 30 different minerals and trace elements. Apples are good for stimulating digestion and help to strengthen the immune system due to numerous vitamins. The fruits are usually eaten most pure, but it can also prepare tasty dishes from it. Applesauce is especially popular in this country. How to make it in another way, explains a professional in a message from the news agency dpa.

Refine with vanilla and cinnamon
The whole thing goes without much effort: With spices, Schwipps and a trick at the very beginning of the preparation. One should caramelize sugar first, recommends the chef Felix Wessler from the restaurant "dining room" on Norderney. This is then - depending on your taste - with white port or apple juice blotted. Only then will the cut apples be added. The mus can be cooked as usual. "The applesauce is perfect with a fresh vanilla pod and cinnamon," says Wessler. Cinnamon is also said to have a health-promoting effect. In one of his books, diabetes expert Sven-David Müller advises on foods such as apples, cinnamon and ginger to prevent diabetes.

Intense spicy taste
Chef-professional Felix Wessler, who is a big cinnamon fan, likes it especially when the musts taste intensively after the spice. He therefore lets the fruity mass with the cinnamon stick cook slowly and a good three hours. "Then the mus gets a dark color, and all the flavors from the cinnamon stick go into the mus." The apple-cinnamon-mus fits in his opinion perfectly to mascarpone and almond biscuits. But there are many more possibilities for experimentation friends. So you can find on Internet portals recipes for noodles with applesauce or other unusual ideas. (Ad)
