Children like for example scented gummy-flower or the cola-herb
When children play in the garden, they are delighted with fruity or chocolaty fragrant flowers. This is indicated by the Federal Association of Retail Gardeners. Thus, the yellow flower heads of the gummy flower would give off a wonderful scent reminiscent of the sweets. Also interesting are cola-herb and the chocolate flower.

The Federal Association advises hobby gardeners with children to plant the chocolate flower (Berlandiera lyrata). In strong sunlight, it exudes the scent of whole milk chocolate. Similarly, the deep red flowering chocolate cosmee (Cosmos atrosanguineus) and the chocolate mint (Mentha x piperita 'Chocolate'), which can add a special touch to chocolate desserts. Another representative of the "chocolaty" plants is the Spanish salsify (Scorzonera hispanica). It exudes a fine aroma that is reminiscent of cocoa.
The Cola herb (Artemisia abrotanum var. Maritima) actually smells and tastes of the popular drink. Cooks season meat and fish with the herb, whereby only the blade tips should be used, since the remainder of the plant tastes bitter, informs the Federal Association.
The smell of poppy seed flower (Scrophularia chrysantha) or licorice tagetes (Tagetes filifolia) is obvious. The Tagetes is ideal for refining sweet desserts and seasoning salads. In addition, it can be prepared as a tea. (Ag)
