Every seventh does not brush teeth in the morning
Every seventh person from Northern Germany does not brush his teeth in the morning.
(22.09.2010) According to a survey by the Techniker Krankenkasse, every seventh North German citizen does not brush his teeth in the morning. Many said they would simply brush their teeth away in the morning „to forget“, others said they had no time to brush their teeth in the morning.
Every 7th North German does not think much of brushing your teeth. Especially men would refuse to brush their teeth, as a spokeswoman for the Techniker Krankenkasse confirmed. In the evening even less, each fourth stated in the survey, in the evening no teeth to clean.
According to the recommendation of dentists, you should brush your teeth at least twice a day. The best times are every morning after getting up and in the evening, before going to bed. Non-sugar chewing gum does not replace brushing, contrary to some people's assumptions. For in between, however, chewing gums are suitable because they stimulate salivation. The saliva helps to neutralize the harmful acids that arise with each meal. If you do not manage to brush your teeth in the evening or in the morning, a chewing gum is exceptionally suitable. Incidentally, the toothbrush should be changed every 6 to 8 weeks since germs of all kinds can accumulate between the bristles. According to a study, a mouthwash helps clean the spaces between the teeth.
In naturopathy, dental care is of high value even when eating. A healthy resistant tooth is also dependent on a nutrient-rich diet. Our teeth are biting tools, and in our most soft-cooked foods today, the teeth lack the stimuli of a solid diet to keep their substance and rooting in the gums. (Sb)
